How do you think the “junk drawer” got its name?  It’s the place where everything goes when it doesn’t have a designated place.  Whether it’s a drawer, closet or room in your home avoid accumulating piles by assigning a specific “home” for your belongings regardless of how large or small. Knowing where something belongs makes it easier to keep organized.
